Kisun Kim was born in Seoul, where he began his musical training. He later was a student of Professor R. Nickler at Vienna University of Music. After graduation, he continued his studies under the guidance of Peter Dvorsky. Kim’s international career began in 2005 where he was performing the role of the Duke of Mantov in “Rigoletto” by Verdi in Belgrade.
Since then, Kisun Kim has performed at solo concerts and concerts in various important concert and opera halls in Europe, such as the Wigmore Hall in London, Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Japanese Oji Hall in Tokyo, the Seoul Arts Center, Opera House, Prague State Opera, Manoel Theater in Malta, etc.
