Alessandro Clerici
The sound of the violin touched the boy’s heart when he was 4 years old. It was then that Alessandro Clerici began learning through the Suzuki method with Lee and Antonio Mosca. Later during the preparation for an international competition, he studied violin playing with Pavel Vernikov in Florence. The list of his teachers is impressive, among which are Massimo Cuatra (first prize-winner of the International Competition named after Paganini) taught the musician at the Lugano Institute in Switzerland. In Fezel of the OGI orchestra, he studied in the class of Marina Massino. The violinist performed himself as a professional in the class of Maestro Ilm Grubert (winner of the International Competition named after Paganini, Sibelius Competition and the International Competition named after Tchaikovsky) as well as in the class of Oleksandr Semchuk. His ambitions in learning new techniques made Alessandro attend the classes “Technique of improvisational playing on the violin” of the famous French jazz violinist Didier Lockwood in Paris.
