Margherita Rotondi
She was born in Bari, graduated at the Conservatory of Bari in vocal with the highest score and specialized in baroque singing with contralto Sonia Prina at the Conservatory of Ferrara.
Today she is studying vocal technique with Lucrezia Messa. She perfected her skills at the Accademia Belcanto "Rodolfo Celletti", participating in the festival Valle d'Itria, playing a doctor in the opera "Nur" by Marco Taralli and Arnalta in "The Coronation of Poppea".
She began her career in opera houses, singing in Haydn's “The Special” at the Opera de Chambre de Geneve, Lola in “The Rural Cavalry”, and Dorabella directed by Janos Ax at the “Così fan tutte”.
She took first prize at the 1st Federico II International Opera Singing Competition chaired by Maurizio Arena, the Rotary Prize at the 31st Maria Caniglia International Competition in Sulmona and a prize for excellence as a student of the "Rodolfo Celletti" Academy in Martina Franca.
